Q: Can I get a lift installed in my home?

A: Yes, in most cases.  However, if you live in the top apartment of a strata unit, for example, there would be considerations to be taken into account, strata approval, who pays, etc.

Q: How much does a lift cost?

A: It depends on the number of floors, lift model and size, and your chosen finishes.

Q: Can I visit the Harwel factory in Gloucester?

A: Yes, please call us beforehand to arrange a visit.

Q: How long does it take to install a lift?

A: Again, it depends on the number of floors, lift model and size, and site access.  A 2-stop home lift can take 4-5 days, whilst a vehicle hoist can take up to 4-6 weeks.

Q:  Do I need a phone in my lift?

A:  Yes.  A lift must always have an active phone, as required by Australian Standard AS1735, to enable two-way communication.
